Description

Gravel

Gravel is a commonly used coarse aggregate and one of the main components of concrete. Therefore, the quality of the crushed gravel is vitally important to ensure that the concrete structure fulfills its purpose.

Gravel is a material extracted from quarried rocks, crushed, or mechanically processed. The gravel production process must ensure that the constituent particles have a size range of approximately 3/4 inch.

Gravel grading can range from very small, 3/6 to 3/8 inch, to larger crushed gravel, 3 to 6 inches.
